Numbers and Dates — French I Practice Worksheet

Grades 8–10 Easy difficulty 10 problems

French numbers 1–16 are unique words to memorize. 17–19 combine ten + number (dix-sept). 20–69 follow regular patterns; 70 is soixante-dix (60+10), 80 is quatre-vingts (4×20), 90 is quatre-vingt-dix.

Days: lundi through dimanche. Months are not capitalized in French. Date format is often day + month + year: le 15 juin 2026.

To ask the date: Quelle est la date aujourd'hui? To say "on" a date use le for specific dates. Years se pronounced as groups (1999 = mille neuf cent quatre-vingt-dix-neuf).
